Michael Hussey: Australia Still Needs to Improve on Some Areas

Australia might have won the ODI series against England 6-1 with sheer ease, but the Aussies now face a huge challenge in Champions Trophy 2009 where they will be facing other top teams of the world. That is why, Australian batsman Michael Hussey wants his teammates to appear with their hungry image in the tournament. He thinks that Australia has still got to improve on some areas, even though he admits that the 6-1 win over England was excellent.

NZ Herald reported:

"I guess it's new and exciting and all the best players around the world are here, so you spruce up a little bit no question," he said.

"The one-dayers [against England] were good.

"I still think we've got a few areas we need to improve in if we're going to be right up there at the business end of this tournament.

"We've got to make sure we try to start a tournament well and try to get better and better each game."

Well, I think, Australia has done very well in the ODI series against England, but they have to face much stronger sides like South Africa, India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan in the tournament.
