Telugu Panchangam 2010 another new year starts with lots of hope

The Telugu Panchangam 2010 has come with lots of hope and people are very happy and enjoying this day.


Yugadi is a festival observed in South India. The word “Yugadi” consists of two words “Yuga” which means era and “Aadi” which means start. It is the new year’s day for the people of the Deccan region in India. The people of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh use the term, “Yugadi/Ugadhi” for this festival. The people of Maharashtra observed another festival on the same which is known as Gudi Padwa. People from Sindh also celebrate this day and they refer it as Cheti Chand. Manipuris also celebrate their New Year known as Sajibu Cheiraoba on the same day.


This year Ugadi marks the start of Vikruti Nama Samvatsaram as per Telugu Panchangam. Telugu Panchangam is the calendar is the calendar of Telugu people followed in Andhra Pradesh. On the new year’s day, Telugu people prepare Ugadi Pachadi.
