Tata Motors hopes to increase its market share in the Uttar Pradesh with its new Sumo Grande MK II which is now available in three variants: Gx, Ex and Lx. Tata Motors hopes that this utility vehicle would help it gain more market share in UP’s inutility car market. Mahindra & Mahindra is currently dominating this market with its Scorpio and Xylo car models. At this moment, Tata has only 8 percent market share in UP.
The new Sumo Grande MK II model has improved features. Its exterior and interior are different from Grande launched last year. UP car market is growing rapidly and that is why, Indian automakers are keen to have a strong foothold in UP market. Tata also attempts to do the same by introducing Sumo Grande MK II model in UP. The price of the car ranges between Rs 6.57 to Rs 7.65 lakh.
