Miss Universe 2009 is now the centre of all attention in the showbiz world as the final competition of the beauty pageant is going to take place on 23 August 2009 (Sunday) at the Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas. Contestants from 84 countries are taking part in the pageant and they have already gone through preliminary competition during which they took part in swimsuit and evening gown categories. On the basis of the performance of the participants in the preliminary competition, top fifteen finalists would be decided and revealed during the final competition. Preliminary competition was shown live online throughout the world.

Well, National Broadcasting Company (NBC) and Telemundo will telecast the two-hour long program on 23rd August from Bahamas. On both NBC and Telemundo, the final competition will be telecast live at 9 PM (ET).
