It was a nail biting finish in the first ODI and in the Australian players could held on to their nerves and won the match by 4 runs. I would say that the top order of Indian batting lineup looked frail in front of Australian bowlers. This stadium replaced the old Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground in Nagpur for cricket. The stadium was built at Jamtha area of Nagpur with international standards and opened with India and Australian test match in November, 2008. The new stadium is fully seated and has luxury suites designed similar to Australian cricket grounds. This new stadium will be used during the 2011 Cricket World Cup.[1]

All the cricket matches in Nagpur will be now held at this new stadium instead of the old Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground. The ground belongs to the Central Zone.

Since the first ODI match was very competitive, I am expecting a full house in the second match too.
