Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge completed 750 weeks

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol is one of the most loveable couples of the Indian cinema. They first came together in 1993 with Yash Chopra’s Baazigar. From then on, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol appeared in some of the most successful movies ever produced in Bollywood cinema. In 1995, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol appeared in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge which went on become the biggest blockbusters of all time. The movie is still viewed by many people.

Currently, DDLJ is running in Maratha Mandir theatre in Mumbai and in February it crossed 750 weeks, and a rare achievement in Indian cinema. DDLJ was released on 20th October 1995. It was directed by Aditya Chopra¸ son of director Yash Chopra.

In DDLJ, Shah Rukh Khan played the role of Raj Malhotra, a boy of Indian origin who lives in London and Kajol played the role of Simran Singh, who also lives in London. The two met with each other when they went on a tour in Europe and eventually they fall in love. However, Simran’s father didn’t approve of this relationship and wanted marry her to his friend’s son in India. However, Raj follows Simran to India and wins her heart and finally they live happily ever after. Though it is almost fifteen years, this movie has been released, people are very much crazy about this movie.
