Vikram Bhatt has been successful in making horror movies and this time he also proved his talent for horror. Shaapit is a well made movie. It tells the story of a couple- Aditya Narayan and Shweta Agarwal. Aditya proposes to Shweta and they went on a long drive. At that time, their car takes a spin and bounces of the road and almost kills them. Aditya and Shweta were then rushed to the hospital. Shweta’s parents come to see them. There Shweta’s father tells Aditya of their family curse. The story then shows Aditya goes out on a journey to end this curse and get his lady love.

The movie has some great scary scenes and the climax is quite long but overall you would enjoy watching it. There are some minor hiccups, for example Shweta wearing the engagement ring in her chain while she was in coma. The background score by Raju Rao was quite scary. Aditya Narayan was very natural in fornt of the camera but Shweta Agarwal did not have much scope.
