Nakkeeran: The Tamil magazine gets in legal trouble with Nithyananda

Nakkeeran, a famous Tamil magazine, has been extensively covering the news of Swami Nithyananda. From yesterday, Swami Nithyananda video and Nithyananda scandal have become the most searched topic in India on the Internet. On March 3, 2010, Swami Nithyananda, moved civil court in Chennai to restrain TV channels and newspapers from publishing further news about this matter.



The XV Assistant Judge A Manickavasagar of the Chennai city civil court ordered notice and posted the petition for further hearing on March 8, 2010. Nithyananda wants to restrain Sun TV, Dinakaran, Tamil Murasu and Nakkeeran, a popular Tamil magazine from publishing any news on the matter.



Nakkeeran is a famous Tamil magazine established in April 1988. It then went on to become one of the popular magazines in Tamil Nadu.



The sex video clip of Paramahamsa Nithyananda which was released by famous Tamil TV, Sun TV Network, created a shockwave around India. Both the electronic and print media covered the news extensively. Born on January 1, 1978, in Tamil Nadu, Nithyananda from a young age, took the path of self-realisation and experimented with yoga, tantra, vedanta and other Eastern metaphysical sciences. However, his experimentation with SEX cost him a lot. Nithyananda has 45 lakh devotees in seventeen countries and he was providing free medical camps and providing education to the needy.
