Mark Linkous was a brilliant musician and was the leader of the American alternative-rock band named Sparklehorse. The band published four music albums under his leadership and much of the materials had been recorded in his home studio. Linkous also produced Daniel Johnston’s 2003 album Fear Yoursel and collaborated with Brian Joseph Burton aka Danger Mouse on Dark Night of the Soul. The album was actually released in the summer of 2009 but it did not contain any song. The album was leaked over the Internet before the CD was released and later when the music CD hit the stores it was a blank CD which says:
"For legal reasons, enclosed CD-R contains no music. Use it as you will."
Guardian.co.uk reported that the album will be released this summer. Linkous’ exact age was unknown. It is believed that he was in his forties. Linkous’ family issued a statement to the news paper.
