Another rumor surfaced about the heroine of Varudu. This time, it is not Bhanu Mehra but Bhanu Kaur, a beautiful Punjabi model. Popular Telugu movie star, Allu Arjun’s next movie, Varudu, will hit the theatres on March 31, 2010. Directed by Gunasekhar, the name of the movie’s heroine had been kept a secret. According to Gunasekhar, the name of the heroine had been kept secret for the script demanded it. Since then, the media went on a buzz about the heroine of Varudu. Numerous news reports were published speculating the heroine of Varudu. Earlier, Gunasekhar confirmed that Bhanu Mehra is not Varudu’s heroine.

Bhanu Kaur hails from Amritsar Punjab. This time, the news reports could not say it for sure whether Bhanu Kaur is the heroine of Varudu. To know about the heroine, you would have to be patient for another five days.

Famous Tollywood actor, Allu Arjun’s upcoming movie, Varudu is creating lot of buzz over the Internet. People are now searching for the heroine of Varudu. Rumor spread out that noted model and actress, Bhanu Mehra, is the actress of Varudu. Earlier, rumor spread out that it was either Parvathi Melton or Anushka.

Varudu is directed by famous director Gunasekhar. Two years after making his last movie Sainikudu, he started Varudu Telugu movie. The movie will also showcase famous Tamil movie star, Arya. It is his first Telugu movie. In this movie, he will be playing the role of villain. Varudu is produced by D.V.V. Danaya. Varudu also stars Brahmanandam, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sayaji Shinde and Ahuti Prasad.

The word “Varudu” means bridegroom. This story of the movie revolves around a five day wedding process. Gunasekhar shot some great wedding scenes for the movie. A set was built specially to shoot the marriage ceremony and it took many days to complete the shoot. To give the ceremony an authentic look, the movie maker brought in one hundred families. Gunasekhar and Thota Prasad wrote script for the movie. It took two years for Gunasekhar to find a suitable title for the movie.

The name of Varudu Telugu movie heroine had been kept secret because Gunasekhar said that the script demanded it. Originally, slated to release on March 26, 2010, the released date had been postponed to March 31, 2010 and on that day, name of the heroine will be revealed.

At the music launch ceremony, Allu Arjun revealed that he is very much in arranged marriage. He even told his father to look for a girl. His father, Allu Aravind, confirmed that he is looking for a girl.
• Famous lyricist, Veturi Sundara Ramamurthy said that Varudu Telugu movie shows a five day wedding process.
• In early March, while shooting the movie, Allu Arjun fractured his hand and it is a good sign for the movie. It is believed in the industry that when a hero gets injured while shooting the movie, it would be a super hit movie. Allu Arjun’s brother, Allu Sirish posted a message on Tweeter about his brother’s injury.
• In Varudu Telugu movie, renowned director, Singeetham Sreenivas Rao would make a special appearance.
  
• Varudu will be released on March 31, 2010. As many as 60 digital prints of the movie will be released along with 300 normal prints. The movie will have grand theatrical release in the U.S. with 25 preview screenings on the occasion of its release.

Varudu heroine: Parvathi Melton or Anushka?

Varudu is an upcoming Telegu movie that has caused a lot of sensation among movie fans today. One of things that they are eager to know is that who is the actress as Varudu heroine? I don’t know if it is a well guarded secret or not. What is confusing to me is that normally, people know in advance who are going to be the leading actor and actress. This is common. Thus, we know that the hero of the movie is Allu Arjun but we still have no clue about the heroine.

I checked a lot in Internet and found two names Parvathi Melton or Anushka. Parvati Melton is quite tall for an Indian actress with her height of 5 feet and 9 inches. She is a well known actress in South India. Her father is German and her mother is Indian. Thus, Parvati Melton has got European height and Indian beauty. In the entry on her in Wikipedia, I did not find any information that she is acting in the movie Varudu.

I searched about Anushka and it seemed to me that most probably, she is the Varudu heroine but I am not 100% sure either. There is a Youtube Video called Anushka's varudu updates and here it is:
